Property Survey & Valuation Services Throughout Kent
The focus is on assessing the general condition of the main elements of a property. This survey includes an extensive visual inspection of the building, its services and grounds, but without tests.
Areas normally opened or used by the occupiers are inspected if it is safe to do so (typical examples include roof spaces, basements and cellars). We do not open the vendors furniture, such as wardrobes.
The report objectively describes the condition of the different elements and provides an assessment of the relative importance of the defects/problems.
As standard, we include our professional opinion on the 'market value' of the property, a list of problems that the surveyor considers may affect the value of the property and an insurance reinstatement figure for the property.
We highlight individual points you should refer to your legal advisers; specific risks associated with the property and other relevant considerations - for example, the location, the local environment, including flood risk data.
The reports are easy to read with condition ratings for each element highlighting immediate concerns using a colour-coded system.
